For those without lots of money, of supreme brilliance to get their schooling funded, there is Gotham High School; underfunded and overcrowded, the school is nonetheless relatively peaceful. The teachers and student body often form a wordless alliance, keeping an eye out for dealers or thugs who might seem to impugn on school property. Still, with crumbling stone and plaster walls, a faintly unpleasant smell lingering in the air, and desks far too small for the students who occupy them, this place isn't likely to render one gung-ho on the prospect of an education.
