Especially given how terrible the airport is, suffice to say ferries are one of the main means of leaving Central City; as such, though the waterfront does have the usual ships bearing cargo, and dark nooks and crannies one might expect, its facilities are perhaps amongst the best maintained, and most sternly policed, in the country. Often, for every two cargo ships that arrive bearing dour sailors, another ship well be a passenger ferry, or even cruise liner, bringing forth happy, slightly sunburnt travelers.
