Metropolis Observatory Because the massive city's ever-bright skyline makes stargazing an absolute pain, the Observatory is actually located many miles outside the city limits, built on a steep cliff that leaves it accessible only via a narrow road. Funded both by the city, and by a few corporations, the Observatory's mission in recent years has grown a little more focused, as it's begun actively seeking signs of alien life. |

Metropolis International Airport Considering incredibly tall, bright buildings are no more conductive to landing planes than they are to stargazing, the Metropolis International Airport is located just outside Queensland Park; a massive, sprawling facility, dozens of planes land and lift off from it daily, bringing people and cargo all around the world. Along with the main airport, there is a smaller, more private airstrip close by, offering facilities for a company's private jet, and helicopter rides into Metropolis herself. |
