Even though this is starting near the beginning of the DC Universe, chances are there will still be some people with whom you've brushed shoulders over the years, either personally or professionally. This is where you make the pages looking to keep track of pre-established relationships, old rivalries, or long-lost relatives.

Primarily a residential area, Queensland Park is largely populated with schools, smaller apartment complexes, parks aplenty, and sprawling suburbs for growing families; its relative proximity to New Troy usually results in Metropolis' workforce moving en masse from the Queensland Park district to New Troy via the handful of bridges that connect them... it makes rush hour an absolute nightmare, but beyond that, the district is a quiet, safe locale. Over time, a few government institutions and companies have moved subsidiary branches to the region, including a secondary Daily Planet printing press, and S.T.A.R. Labs.

By far the worst district in Metropolis, the southern district is only a few miles from the bustling, productive gem that is New Troy, and yet the difference could not be more pronounced. The police spent little, if any, time trying to maintain order within the region, and as such a number of extremely powerful gangs have risen up to seize control... with its own waterfront, Southside does act as a trading port- mostly for companies who can't afford the higher fees of New Troy's facilities, or are transporting illegal goods- and shipment thefts happen on a regular basis... though not so often that the authorities would feel the need to intervene.

Sub-boards: Residences, Ace O'Clubs, Slums Waterfront

Located on the north-eastern side of Metropolis, St Martin's Island is significantly smaller than the massive New Troy district, and has only a single bridge linking it to Metropolis' Business District. Intended as a place of residence and recreation for the city's richest citizens, there are vast, luxurious homes, and high-end restaurants too 'exclusive' (read: expensive) to function in the larger city. Everything from recreational boating to tennis (read: 'Rich Guy Stuff') is possible here, and a private security firm ensures the residents are kept safe and happy.

Essentially Gotham's middle-class district, it is home to numerous apartment buildings in various states of disrepair and numerous privately owned shops and markets; there are even a few suburban neighborhoods for those wealthy enough to afford their own home. The police maintain a minor presence here, though it is a widely accepted fact that you're far better off remaining indoors after the sun has gone down... nonetheless, the bulk of Gotham's non-criminal, non-poverty stricken population resides here, often forming neighborhood watches and other citizen-driven initiatives to try and protect one another.

If the Gotham Village district was unsafe to traverse at night, East End would be the district that was unsafe to traverse in broad daylight. Rife with crime, prostitution, and filled with desperate, hungry people, Gotham's East End is a vast region that has been all but abandoned by the police. Many of the city's most notorious crime bosses have chosen to operate in the region, taking advantage of the steady stream of new recruits Gotham's poorest region provides.

Sub-boards: Hovels, Iceberg Lounge, Robinson Park

Considering the state of the city's leadership and police force, it would be safe to say that of the goods passing through the dilapidated, but ever-active waterfront district, more may well be illegal than not. Even though Gotham largely relies on the imports and exports of this region to sustain its economy, not even the police dare tread the region; the fact that any legitimate goods make it through without being stolen is perhaps due more to private security corporations are usually forced to hire to protect the shipments. Often, however, not even that is enough, and one can expect at least a single gunshot every night.

Sub-boards: Warehouses, The Salty Sinner, Blackgate Penitentiary

Considering its location, Jump City has a considerable Asian influence, though despite the name it is hardly limited to that of China. The Harajuku culture from Tokyo is prominent here, many of the city's youth subscribing to the fashion and styles more commonly seen in Japan. This is all most common in the area commonly referred to "Chinatown," with a lot of traditional Asian restaurants and various entertainment venues with Asian-influenced acts.

Sub-boards: Go Station, Wakahisa Park, Ueda Tea Room

Basically the center of midtown Jump City, most of the middle class residences are centered around this road. Also includes several city parks and business who can't meet the demands of the busy part of the city. Mostly safe, though once in a while, someone will get the bright idea to mug someone, steal a car, or even perform heists on banks and stores.

Sub-boards: North End Mall, Sunshine Diner, McKinley Lake Park

Basically the most crime-ridden area within Jump City. Illegal street races are a common event, making it dangerous to even be outside at night. Gunfights, drug deals, and worse are all on the board if you're in the wrong place at the wrong time. Overall a dangerous residential zone home to various ne'er-do-wells and low-income families in a tight spot.

Sub-boards: Back Alleys, 44th and McKinley, Apartments

A sprawling, suburban region, Englewood is located about a half hour's drive from the City Center, and is where the bulk of Central's population hang their hats. Unlike Metropolis, there are no choke points or narrow access routes between the financial and residential districts, meaning that traffic is quite mild; a friendly, safe region, (most of the time,) Englewood and its surrounding area has everything from lower to upper class homes and apartments.

Between the Missouri river and the City Center lies Westminster; where the Center is the shining, handsome face of business, Westminster is more akin to the reliable, if far plainer, sibling. Filled with old warehouses, a small, modest waterfront, and smaller office buildings intended for the mundane paperwork of the larger, more dazzling corporation headquarters, the region is almost perpetually active; it's only in the latest hours of the eve where the streets empty, and the less reputable folks come out of hiding.

Named due to the fact that Central City University in the very center, University Town is filled with coffee shops, fast food places, and apartments whose prices and available amenities best cater to the university's students, and the employees working in the area. It's a bit on the quiet side- though it grows pretty rowdy on the streets whenever the Central City Cougars win a major game- and you will rarely find someone walking its streets that it under the age of thirty.
