Residences With an unusual lack of segregation between the social classes, the homes in Englewood seem to meld seamlessly from bottom-bin, rat-infested hovels, to moderately priced, respectable apartments, to charming little suburban neighborhoods, and finally tastefully elegant upper-class houses and condominiums. Although, naturally, the upper-class communities insist on at least a little segregation, their neighborhoods often fenced off from the rest of the district. |

Central City High School One of three public schools in the city, Central High is nonetheless one of the better funded ones, with classrooms large enough to accommodate its students without having to jam forty of them into a room, and cafeteria food that looks potentially edible. It even has an indoor pool for its swim team, and a lush little park just across the street. |

Central City Hospital Though there is a smaller hospital located in the City Center, Englewood's facilities are significantly larger, more advanced, and have only the best doctors on staff at all times. Given how peaceful the city generally is- occasional super-powered rampage aside- the hospital sees far more use dealing with injured drunk drivers and parents who've had their ear plugged with superglue by their five year olds while they slept. |
