Once a lush, sprawling example of carefully cultivated nature, the decline of East End has caused the park to gradually slip into shambles... litter is scattered across the yellowed, untended lawns, and many of the trees have deep gouges or even burn marks from bored thugs trying to pass the time. The park's sheer size make it an ideal hiding place for muggers and other criminals, and that same size means it takes ages to just try and walk around, forcing many of its citizens to risk a trek through the winding paths.
